CABARET
THE PREMISE:
This is a personal visual development project for an animated adaptation of the classic musical, "CABARET", by John Kander and Fred Ebb. This haunting story follows and aspiring American writer experiencing the blinding fun of Berlin's nightlife during the rise of fascism in the wake of WW2.

The Kit Kat Club is the seedy night club most of the musical numbers take place in. Patrons leave their troubles outside and enter a space where the party never stops (even when it should). This is where Cliff meets all types of eccentric characters such as Sally and the Emcee.

This is a style frame exploration of a musical number titled "Money", which is meant to be commentary on the importance placed on wealth and how money is a driving force in the world.
